Today me and my friends hit up the Meadows mall for some Back to school shopping. It was so much fun, I would not stop ranting about getting a maxi dress and I FINALLY got one! At the mall, I also got some new flats from Forever 21. You will see everything in the collective haul I’ll be posting .
After we did some shopping, we went to the Food Court to pick up a snack from. This is where it all went down. I was was feeling really discouraged, because I couldn’t find any shoes in my size( I have big feet). When I thought it was all over, I went to Forever 21 and Voila! Shoes!
This is today’s outfit. I kept it nice and simply today, because Vegas is burning up! I chose this orange and tan knit top, it’s nice and airy and very comfy in Vegas weather. I don’t remember where i got this from, but I am so glad I did. This top was paired with boyfriend shorts from Banana Republic. They are lose fitting, so I sintched them with a black, braided belt from Target. The gold necklace I am wearing, is from H&M. I love this necklace soooo much, and IT OPENS! Cool right?
On my ears, are my mini gold hoops that my Nana gave me as a gift. They can be dressed up or down to make gorgeous ear candy. I also have my diamond studs that i wear almost everyday. These studs go with absolutely EVERYTHING!
Lastly, to finish off my look, I wore my brown booties. I bought these from Rack Room Shoes in Las Vegas Premium Outlets. These shoes couldn’t get anymore comfortable then they already are. My favorite part of them is the faux fur on the sides. They give me an edgy vibe, to any outfit.
Today I almost bought $10 shimmery lipgloss from Target…then I realized I could make it with stuff I have at home!! I made mine super sparkly by using MAC Metallic Pigment (in Grape) but you can use any powdered blush or eyeshadow!!
What you’ll need:
a small container
powdered pigment of some sort(any color)
First, glob some vaseline into your container. I did this with my fingers.
Next, put a little bit of pigment on top and mix it. I used a brush to mix it.
You’re DONE! So simple. The metallic shimmer of the pigment I used made a really interesting color. It’s not highly pigmented, more of a grape-colored shiney glaze. Love it!! I think next time I’ll go for something brighter though. And remember, Stay Fabulous My Friends!
Knowing what to wear for the summer is pretty easy, but knowing how to put a complete look together isn’t so.In the summer, you always want to wear something practical such as: shorts, capris, short sleeve shirts, and skirts. But what most people forget are ACCESSORIES! Yes girls, you need rings and necklaces and so much more. Accessories add flare and excitement to every look, so don’t be bland. Add Accessories!
